
When he is not writing his novels, he loves watching soccer, camping, reading and playing with his grandchildren. His friends had always told him that he had a very vivid imagination and this was confirmed when he published his bestselling debut novel “Dragon Wars.” Since then he has become a prolific author and now has more than forty novels in the “Dragon Dreams,” “Forgotten Empire,” “Star One,” “Earth Fall,” “Moon Wreck,” “Lost Fleet: Originator Wars,” “Slaver Wars,” “Star Cross” and “Lost Fleet” series. At one point in his teen years, he wanted to make a career as an astronaut but later on, he decided to just write about space.


Weil has a fascination with the space program and asserts that he has kept abreast of developments ever since it was launched. He has always been an avid reader and has more than two thousand novels in the fantasy and science fiction genre.

The author went to SWOSU, where he graduated with a bachelor’s in History and a Creative Writing minor and a major in Math. Weil is a bestselling author of fantasy and science fiction novels from Clinton, Oklahoma.
